Challenge
Creating Lightweight Garment meant for Heavy Duty Use with specific areas of high stress points, while providing user comfort in tropical operating environments of high humidity and high temperature as well.
Process
Guidelines given in the buyer’s material and construction data sheets were analysed and collaborated upon with Fabric OEM’s and Textile Chemical OEM’s to arrive at the optimal construction and processing parameters.
OUTCOME
Two instances of Purchase Orders received from 2 different units of the Indian Navy, both being first time orders from them, against open tenders which was participated by established players, both at National and Regional level.
